Assistant Principal Cellist at Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra

Daniel Lelchuk is a seasoned cellist and music educator with extensive experience in various orchestras and music festivals. Currently serving as Cello Lead at tonebase since November 2022, Lelchuk is also a Visiting Scholar at Dartmouth College. As a podcast host for "Talking Beats with Daniel Lelchuk" since June 2020, Lelchuk engages audiences in discussions about music. Additionally, Lelchuk holds the position of Assistant Principal Cellist with the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra since November 2013 and performs as a cellist in multiple prestigious music festivals, including LAKES AREA MUSIC FESTIVAL and HAWAII INTERNATIONAL MUSIC FESTIVAL. Lelchuk's contributions extend to educational outreach through the creation and hosting of "LPO Radio Hour" for WWNO, highlighting New Orleans' classical music scene. Lelchuk's educational background includes a performance diploma from Indiana University Bloomington, completed in 2012.
