Lia Murphy

Lia Murphy is an experienced professional in human resources and people operations, currently serving as the Director of People & Culture at Louisville Public Media since October 2019 and as the Chief Executive Officer at Combat Cleanup since February 2023. Previous roles include Personnel Manager, Personnel Supervisor, Compliance Coordinator, and Human Resources Generalist at Louisville Metro Government from March 2015 to September 2019, as well as Employee Information Coordinator at PharMerica from May 2013 to February 2015. Lia's career began in the US Army from July 2006 to January 2013 as a Human Resources Sergeant. Lia earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resources Management from McKendree University between 2014 and 2016.
