Abi Homer has diverse work experience spanning several industries. Abi began their career as a Visual Merchandiser for Marks and Spencer in 2014, where they gained exposure to various departments and learned the importance of understanding consumer behavior. In 2016, they worked as a Blogger for Creative Quarter, covering events in and around Nottingham. Abi then joined Mooch Creative as a Social Media Intern in 2017, where they not only handled content creation and social media management but also assisted the graphic design team. In 2018, Abi worked as a Photoshoot Assistant for Alexander & James Sofas, where they gained hands-on experience in assisting with location photoshoots. Abi then moved on to Prima Makeup Ltd as a Graduate Marketing Executive, responsible for paid advertising and utilizing organic marketing materials to promote the brand. Abi further honed their marketing skills as a Senior Marketing Lead in the same company, focusing on Facebook Business Manager and running adverts on Facebook and Instagram. Abi worked as a Senior Sales Assistant for Thorntons from 2013 to 2017, where they displayed leadership skills and managed the team. In 2020, they briefly worked as a Social Media Marketing Executive for LAMODA before transitioning to a Junior Content Executive role at a private company. Most recently, Abi joined Lounge Underwear as a Junior Paid Media Executive and quickly progressed to the position of Paid Media Executive.
Abi Homer attended Nottingham Trent University from 2015 to 2018, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Fashion Communication & Promotion. Abi also attended the same university during this time period and received a Bachelor of Arts - BA degree in Fashion Communication and Promotion. Prior to their time at Nottingham Trent University, Abi Homer studied at King Edward VI College, Stourbridge from 2013 to 2015, where they completed their A Levels.
