Matthew started their career at Daven Agency, Inc. in September 2011 as a System Administrator. Matthew's primary responsibility was to ensure a smooth transition from the company's old Windows XP computers to their new Windows 7 computers. In doing so they had to make sure that all of the necessary software was compatible with the new systems. This included both basic things like Microsoft Office and their own proprietary software.

In addition, Matthew would find solutions for everyday computer mishaps that the agents would come across while working. In their tenure there, they took it upon himself to educate the staff when they had problems so that they would know how to either handle or avoid them in the future.

After leaving Daven Agency in April 2012, Matthew went on to work at Park Avenue Securities as a Cash Control Consultant from July 2014 to November 2014. After Park Avenue Securities, they began working as an IT Intern at HSBC Global Banking and Markets from March 2015 to March 2016. In this position, they assisted the Loan IQ development team and various finance teams with a variety of tasks. Matthew analyzed data using SQL, Visual Basic, and MS Office Suite software.
