Matthew also serves as a Limited Partner and Advisor at Underdog Labs since January 2022. Prior to that, Matthew worked as a Limited Partner at Dane Creek Capital Corp. starting from January 2021.

Matthew's previous experience includes working as a Senior Analyst at Provenire Capital LLC from November 2019 to December 2020, where they specialized in long/short technology public equity investing. Matthew conducted in-depth analysis on over 50 public companies across various sectors, employed a proprietary investment process, and generated positive contributions to the firm's overall P&L.

Before joining Provenire Capital, Matthew worked at Baird for several years, holding positions such as Vice President of Equity Research, Equity Research Senior Associate, Equity Research Associate, and Equity Research Analyst. During their time at Baird, Matthew covered multiple public retailers and branded consumer products companies, driving the entire research process, including financial modeling, valuation analyses, and producing comprehensive reports. Matthew also developed differentiated proprietary research perspectives.

Matthew began their career at Deloitte Consulting, where they worked as a Consultant and Business Analyst. Matthew'sresponsibilities included leading complex strategy analyses in collaboration with senior management, conducting industry research, and achieving top performance ratings.

Matthew Larson, CFA, obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Analytic Finance and Entrepreneurship from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 2016. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management, earning an Honors BSB degree in Finance in 2008. In addition, Matthew Larson is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder, which they obtained from the CFA Institute in August 2016.
