George Frazier

Director, Information Systems at Lower Merion School District

George Frazier joined Lower Merion School District in 2009. As Director of Information Systems, he oversees the District's technology initiatives, including helpdesk support, purchasing, networking and infrastructure, and network security. Previously, Frazier served as the Director of Technology for Phoenixville Area School District for thirteen years. During his tenure in Phoenixville, he led the installation of a fiber optic network, voice over IP telephony, and a standards-based technology curriculum.

Prior to joining Phoenixville, Frazier taught middle school at Spring-Ford Area School District and high school in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. While teaching at the middle school level, he served as a technology mentor to teachers. Before pursuing his career in education, he served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps.

Frazier serves as an adjunct professor at Arcadia University, teaching a variety of educational technology courses ranging from Introduction to Computers and Technology in Education to Technology Leadership. He is a certified Pennsylvania Department of Education Supervisor of Curriculum and Instruction and a certified Instructional Technology Specialist. He holds an M.S. in Computers and Technology in Education from Arcadia University. He is married with three children.
