Bill Cummins has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Bill began their career as a Speech Language Pathologist at San Bernardino Community Hospital, where they advanced communication and patient safety for inpatient and outpatient therapy. Bill then joined PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center as an Outpatient Speech-Language Pathologist and led the expansion of services through innovative treatment programs.

In 1993, Bill became the Clinical Director of Speech Pathology at SunDance Rehab, where they successfully led a regional team of 47 Speech Pathologists and marketed contract services to prospective facilities and clinics. Bill later joined Shared Healthcare Systems as a Senior Product Manager, providing subject matter expertise and managing the design of the nationally recognized rehabilitation management software application, Cypress.

Bill continued their career at AccuMed (now PointClickCare) as a Product Director, overseeing a 20-person software team and playing a key role in the development and success of the Cypress Rehabilitation Management software system. Bill also provided clinical and financial expertise to various departments and frequently gave industry presentations.

In 2012, Bill joined Nextra as the Executive Vice President and General Manager, where they led the creation of a new pharmacy information software project for the Long-Term Care pharmacy market. Bill managed the entire development project and recruited talent for the team.

Moving forward, Bill worked as the Business Development Director at Integra, Inc., doubling the available pharmacy marketplace and managing international sales. Bill then became a Rehabilitation Program Manager at SavaSeniorCare Administrative Services LLC, providing exceptional care and clinical/financial leadership. Currently, Bill holds the role of Associate Vice President of Business Development and Rehabilitation at Family Health West, overseeing various departments and leading the growth of the rehab team to become the largest provider in Western Colorado.

In addition to their work experience, Bill has also been involved in research and co-authored a long-term study on patient outcomes utilizing the Rehabilitation Outcomes Measure (ROM). Bill partnered with Aegis Therapies for this research project, leveraging their data warehouse reporting and diverse patient population.

Throughout their career, Bill Cummins has consistently demonstrated strong leadership and expertise in various healthcare roles, making significant contributions to the field of rehabilitation and software product management.

Bill Cummins completed their education at the University of Redlands. From 1984 to 1988, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. Bill then continued their education from 1988 to 1990, earning a Master's degree in Communicative Disorders. In August 1991, they obtained a Certificate of Clinical Competence from The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
