Andrew Sacher is a senior associate at Lowey Dannenberg Cohen & Hart. Andrew previously worked as general counsel at BBK Worldwide and as an assistant district attorney in the Bronx County District Attorney’s Office.
Mr. Sacher has a long history of working in the legal field. Andrew started their career as a prosecutor, where they argued before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, the New York State Court of Appeals, and the Appellate Division, First Department. Andrew was also lead counsel in a matter before the New York State Court of Appeals that defined crucial aspects of New York’s self-defense/use of lethal force jurisprudence. In addition to their work as a prosecutor, Mr. Sacher has also worked as a training with the Medical Examiner’s Office and the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms in the use of DNA, forensic pathology, and ballistics analysis in criminal investigation.
Mr. Sacher’s work at Lowey Dannenberg Cohen & Hart focuses on litigation, contracting, risk and compliance issues on behalf of both the company itself and its biopharmaceutical clients.
Andrew Sacher has a Juris Doctor from Cardozo School of Law and a BA in Philosophy from University of Wisconsin-Madison. Andrew also attended Great Neck South.
