Jaime Abrego

Jaime Abrego, Ph.D. has a background in cancer biology and has worked in various research positions. They currently serve as the Scientific Lead in Cancer Biology at Loxo Oncology at Lilly since November 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Postdoctoral Scientist at Oregon Health & Science University from January 2018 to January 2023. They began their research career as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2013, where they worked until 2017.

Jaime Abrego, Ph.D., obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, General from Georgia Southwestern State University, from 2008 to 2012. Later, from 2013 to 2017, they pursued their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD degree in Oncology and Cancer Biology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
