Kristin Bedard

Kristin Bedard, PhD has a demonstrated track record of working in the biopharmaceutical industry. Kristin is currently working as the Vice President of Biologics at Loxo@Lilly. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Vice President of Drug Discovery at Sutro Biopharma, Inc. from 2020 to 2023. Kristin also served as the Chair of the Drug Discovery Review Section at the National Institutes of Health Office of Extramural Research from 2015 to 2023. In addition, Kristin has held positions at OncoSenX as a Scientific Advisory Board Member from 2019 to 2023 and at Kineta, Inc. as a Founding Scientist and Chief Scientific Officer from 2008 to 2020. Kristin has also been involved in various organizations such as the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association as a Director At Large from 2016 to 2020 and the Wellcome Trust as a Research Steering Committee Member from 2016 to 2019. Kristin began their career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center from 2006 to 2008. Overall, they have a vast range of experience in both industry and academia.

Kristin Bedard, PhD, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from Penn State University in 1998. Kristin then went on to complete their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Virology at UC Irvine from 1999 to 2005.
