Maegen Hansen

Maegen Hansen is an experienced educator currently serving as an Elementary School Teacher with the Thames Valley District School Board since February 2023 and as a French Teacher with the Limestone District School Board since September 2022. With a strong background in lifesaving instruction, Maegen holds multiple positions including Head Lifeguard/Head Instructor and Advanced Lifesaving Instructor with the City of Kingston, Specialty Lifesaving Instructor with The Corporation of Loyalist Township, and Advanced Lifesaving Instructor at Queen's University. Additionally, Maegen contributed as the Assistant Director for Queen's French Camp in the summer of 2020. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Education from Queen's University (2021-2022) and a Bachelor of Arts in Languages, Literatures, and Cultures (2017-2020), complemented by an international exchange experience at the University of Strathclyde.
