Helen Schroeder

Helen Schroeder has a diverse and extensive work experience. Helen started their career in 2011 as a Bakery Assistant at Frootogo Orchards. Helen then worked as a Junior Administrative Assistant at M D Charlton Co.Ltd in 2013. In 2014, they held two positions: Website and Ecommerce Application Administrator at M D Charlton Co. Ltd and Junior Website Administrator at Lug. In 2015, they worked as a Marketing Web Development Assistant at the Ontario Ministry of Economic Development, Employment and Infrastructure. In 2016, they became a Web Application Developer at Kenna and later joined LoyaltyOne as a UX Designer. Helen briefly worked as a UX Designer at LoyaltyOne in 2016 before returning to Kenna as an Information Architect - Contractor in 2017. From 2018 onwards, Helen has been with LoyaltyOne, initially as a UX Designer and later transitioning to UX Design Manager. Helen is currently an Associate Director of UX Design at LoyaltyOne since 2023. Additionally, between 2012 and 2017, they pursued their education and attended the University of Waterloo as a student.

Helen Schroeder's education history begins in 2008 when they enrolled at Waterdown District High School. Helen completed their studies there in 2012, earning a High School Diploma with Honours.

Following their high school graduation, Helen went on to attend the University of Waterloo from 2012 to 2017. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Computer Science degree with a specialization in Computer Science.

In addition to their formal education, Helen obtained several certifications. In December 2018, they received the Digital Behavior Change Certificate from the Behavioral Design Academy of AlterSpark. Helen also obtained the Emotional Design Psychology Certificate from the same institution in the same month and year.

More recently, in February 2021, Helen acquired the Nielsen Norman Group UX Certificate from the Nielsen Norman Group.
