Keith Jones

Keith Jones currently serves as a Professor and Director of Pharmacovigilance at Loyola University Chicago, having previously held the role of Chair in the Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics from June 2014 to July 2018. In addition, Keith Jones directs the Online Pharmacovigilance Certificate Course at Loyola University Chicago. With a strong background in research, Keith Jones manages an NIH-funded basic and translational research lab at the College of Medicine. Previously, Keith Jones was a Founding Member and Chief Scientific Officer of TRP TheRaPeutics, LLC, focusing on the development of therapeutic agents for heart disease. Additionally, Keith Jones was a Professor at UC from 2000 to 2014 and a Founding Member, President, and Chief Scientific Officer of CardioCeption, LLC, emphasizing innovative cardiac protection strategies. Educationally, Keith Jones holds a Ph.D. from the University of Kentucky and a BS in biology from the University of Louisville.
