Alyssa de la Cerda

Alyssa De La Cerda has a diverse range of work experience. Alyssa currently works as the Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Loyola University Maryland, where they plan and executes equity and inclusion programming and events. Alyssa also serves as an Undergraduate Diversity Advisory Board Member, contributing to the implementation of diversity and inclusion initiatives at the university. Prior to their role at Loyola, Alyssa worked as a Greyhound Ambassador, providing campus information and assistance to visitors. Alyssa has also held positions at the Loyola Center for Community, Service, and Justice, where they served as the LoyolaVotes Vice President of Operations and Event Coordinator. Alyssa has experience outside of the university setting as well, having worked as a Research Fellow at the Voter Empowerment Project, identifying voting rights organizations and managing volunteers. Additionally, they have experience in customer service as a Cashier at The Habit Burger Grill, and as a Poll Worker with The Poll Hero Project, assisting voters at polling sites during elections. Alyssa also gained business experience as a Student Intern at Blue Dot Education, developing goals for their own small cookie business and evaluating existing businesses. Alyssa has previously worked as an Intern at Bayha Group. Overall, Alyssa's work experience demonstrates their dedication to diversity and inclusion, community service, voter empowerment, customer service, and business development.

Alyssa De La Cerda completed their high school education at Downey High School from 2018 to 2022. Alyssa then attended Loyola University Maryland from 2022 to 2026, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on International Business.
