Gerardo Montes

Gerardo Montes is an accomplished architectural designer with experience at LPA, Inc. since June 2023. Previously, Gerardo worked as a designer at Root Architecture from May 2019 to August 2022, and served as a graduate research assistant at the UTSA Building Performance Lab from August 2021 to May 2022. Prior design experience includes a role at ToxeyMcMillan Design Associates, LLC from May 2017 to April 2019. Gerardo’s career began as an apprentice electrician at Fluor Corporation from August 2013 to August 2015 and as a carpenter at Advanced Custom Home Framing from January 2008 to August 2013. Gerardo holds a Master of Architecture degree from The University of Texas at San Antonio, completed in May 2023, and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the same institution, earned in December 2018.
