Carolin Shaw has a diverse work experience history. Carolin started their career at the Conservative Party as a Campaign Staff and later became a Campaign Manager/Senior Campaign Support Manager, where they managed a team and was responsible for compliance, strategy planning, fundraising, and resource management. Carolin then joined Superdry as part of the Ecommerce Team before moving on to EDF Energy, where they worked in various roles such as HR Business Systems Incident Coordinator, HR Business Systems Analyst, and HR Business Systems Support Team Leader. Carolin also worked at Horizon Nuclear Power as a Corrective Action Programme Practitioner, where they led improvement initiatives within a regulated nuclear project. Currently, they hold the position of Global HR Shared Services Improvement & Digital Enablement Manager at LRQA, and they are slated to become the Global Head of HR Business Enablement in 2023.

Carolin Shaw obtained a Bachelor's degree in Politics from Swansea University from 2007 to 2010.
