Jan Kranghand

Jan Kranghand is a seasoned professional in food safety and quality assurance, currently serving as the Global Head of Food Centre of Excellence at LRQA since April 2021, and as the Global Head of Service Delivery - Customised Assurance at Lloyd's Register since August 2018. Previous roles include Quality & Food Safety Director at Danone Early Life Nutrition, Director of Regional QA Asia at METRO Cash & Carry International, and Head of Quality Assurance at METRO Cash & Carry China. Jan has also held positions such as Managing Director and Member of the Board at Star Farm Consulting Company Ltd. and Chairman of the Global Food Safety Initiative's Global Markets working group. Jan Kranghand's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Food Technology and Processing from Het Van Hall Instituut, completed in 1983.
