Jeff Wheeler

Director, Global Trace Protocol Project at LRQA

Jeff Wheeler has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several years. Jeff is currently working as the Director of the Global Trace Protocol Project at LRQA, where they focus on reducing child and forced labor in global supply chains. Prior to this role, they served as an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University Walsh School of Foreign Service, teaching courses on labor in trade, diplomacy, and foreign policy. Jeff has also been a board member and president of the Labor and Employment Relations Association in Washington, DC. Jeff has held positions at USAID and the United States Department of Labor as a Senior Labor Advisor and an International Relations Officer, respectively. Earlier in their career, Jeff worked as an attorney and organizer for the AFL-CIO and served as Senior Counsel to the Board at the National Labor Relations Board. Jeff has also worked as an advisor and consultant for USAID and various development organizations. Jeff's experience demonstrates their expertise in labor relations, international trade, and policy-making.

Jeff Wheeler has a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from the University of Virginia School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, cum laude, from the University of South Carolina. Jeff is also a member of the DC Bar and the Georgia Bar, obtained in 2001.
