Tom Chesser

Tom Chesser has extensive work experience in the IT industry. Tom started their career at Caterpillar Inc. as a Project Manager, where they managed various IT and new product introduction projects. After that, they joined Levi, Ray & Shoup, Inc. (LRS) as a Senior Manager, where they were responsible for sales, customer relationship management, and leading a team of over 70 staff members. Later, Tom worked as an Administrator of Systems and Programming at the Illinois Secretary of State. Tom then returned to LRS as a Senior Manager in the Retirement Solutions division, overseeing product support and software implementations. Tom also worked at LRWL Inc as a Program Director, providing management and technology consulting services to public employee and teacher retirement systems. Currently, they serve as the Senior Vice President of the Retirement Solutions division at LRS, leading teams responsible for sales, product research & development, and infrastructure and technical services.

Tom Chesser obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Technology from Eastern Illinois University from 1991 to 1993. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science and Information Systems from Illinois College, where they studied from 1984 to 1987. Tom also holds a certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from PMI.
