Izzy Jones

Izzy Jones is an experienced educational leader currently serving as Headteacher at William Ellis School since May 2019, previously holding the position of Deputy Headteacher. With a strong focus on the quality of education, teaching and learning, curriculum, and professional development, Izzy also plays the role of Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL). As a Senior Teaching Fellow at Limited Resource Teacher Training since July 2017, Izzy is dedicated to teacher development in challenging environments and is currently developing a lead teacher program for ongoing peer support. Prior roles include Assistant Headteacher, Lecturer in History Education at UCL Institute of Education, and Head of History and Politics at Parliament Hill School. Izzy has a solid educational background, including an NPQH from UCL, an MA in History Education, a PGCE in Secondary History from the University of Cambridge, and a BA (Hons) in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of Oxford.
