Nikhil Kochar

Nikhil Kochar is an experienced lighting design professional currently serving as the Director of Innovation & VA/VE at LSI Industries Inc. since May 2017, where responsibilities include new product development, R&D, and sustaining engineering. Nikhil has a diverse background with prior roles such as Senior Design Engineer at Acuity Brands and Rambus - Lighting Display & Technology, as well as Product Development Engineer at Forms + Surfaces and Lighting Design Engineer at Leni Schwendinger Light Projects LTD. Other notable positions include Assistant Manager on the LiDAC Team at Philips Electronics India LTD, Lead Lighting Designer at Havells India LTD, and Graduate Engineer Trainee at JSW Steel Ltd. Nikhil holds a Master's degree in Architectural Lighting Design from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology. Additionally, Nikhil has completed studies at the University of Arizona - College of Optical Sciences in 2019.
