Tom Caneris

Tom Caneris is currently the Senior Vice President of Human Resources and General Counsel at LSI Industries. Prior to this, they worked at PharMerica from January 2007 to December 2019, where they held various positions including Senior Vice President, General Counsel & Secretary, Head of Human Resources, and Government Affairs.

Caneris has extensive experience in the pharmacy industry and healthcare compliance. Tom has navigated PharMerica through a highly-regulated environment, ensuring adherence to regulations of the DEA, FDA, Medicaid, Medicare, False Claims Act, Stark and anti-kickback laws, and State Boards of Pharmacy across the country. Tom was also appointed as Chief Compliance Officer from September 2012 to April 2015, leading the organization through high stakes Department of Justice, DEA, and OIG investigations and litigations.

In addition to their experience in the pharmacy industry, Caneris has also served as the Corporate Secretary for PharMerica. In this role, they organized and participated in all Board and Committee meetings, managed compensation consultant, advised Board with respect to ISS matters and developed strategies to address shareholder proposals.

Caneris’ experience in both the pharmacy industry and corporate governance makes him uniquely qualified for their current position at LSI Industries.

Tom Caneris received their Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Cincinnati College of Law and their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Tom'story from the University of Cincinnati College of Arts and Sciences. Tom also holds a Business Certificate from the University of Cincinnati.
