Allison Betancourt

Allison Betancourt has a diverse work experience starting in 2013. Allison began as a Managing Partner, Freelance Writer, and Web Developer at Digital Flux, where they managed payroll, clients, service tools, and freelancers. Allison also wrote technical documents and developed websites. In 2014, they founded Fancy Kraken Studios, LLC to handle freelance work and worked as a Web Developer and Designer. At White Lion Interactive from 2015 to 2016, they were a Front-end Developer, building custom websites and implementing design with UX and mobile-first principles. Allison then worked as a UI Engineer - Contractor at Charles Schwab for a brief period in 2017. From 2017 to 2019, they joined Q2ebanking as a Developer II and later as a Web Developer II, focusing on responsive and WCAG2.0 AA compliant accessibility. In 2019, they became a Software Development Engineer at Whole Foods Market, where they worked until 2021. Currently, they are a Senior Software Engineer at LTK (formerly rewardStyle & LIKEtoKNOW.it), starting in July 2021.

Allison Betancourt attended the University of Maryland from 2006 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. In addition to their degree, they have also obtained certifications in Advanced HIPAA Training from HIPAA Exams in October 2012 and HIPAA Exams, Inc in January 2014.
