Brandon Blair has a diverse work experience spanning over 17 years. Brandon started their career in the United States Air Force as an Airborne Cryptologic Linguist, serving for six years. After that, they worked as a Jr. Systems Administrator at Sage PC Solutions Ltd. for two years.

Brandon then joined Reddwerks Corporation as a Support Engineer, where they supported enterprise-level Java-based supply chain software and performed troubleshooting and data analysis. Brandon also automated tasks and provided 24/7 remote software support for multiple customers.

Brandon then transitioned to a QA Engineer role at Reddwerks Corporation, where they focused on increasing the quality of enterprise supply chain software through testing and test automation. Brandon worked on diverse environments and utilized tools like JIRA, TestRail, and Jenkins.

Moving on, they joined Dealertrack Technologies as a QA Engineer, where they contributed to the release of tools and software solutions for the automotive industry. Brandon implemented Context-Driven testing methods and automated tasks and tests to catch regressions.

Afterwards, Brandon joined Research Now SSI as an Automation Engineer, where they created a test automation framework and managed a team to tackle complex problems. Brandon provided accurate and actionable information to decision-makers.

Currently, they are working at rewardStyle as an Engineering Manager, where they lead performant backend teams and designs robust cloud solutions. Brandon is responsible for uniting Engineering and Business units, ensuring shared understanding of features and timeline.

Throughout their career, Brandon has gained proficiency in various programming languages such as Go, Python, PHP, JavaScript, BASH, and Java. Brandon has also developed strong skills in test automation, project management, and team leadership.

Brandon Blair completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Lamar University, where they studied from 2019 to 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Literary Studies from The University of Texas at Dallas, where they attended from 2009 to 2011.
