Andrew Shaffer

Andrew Shaffer has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Andrew started their career at RCN as a Web Application Developer and Technical Trainer, creating and maintaining training intranet sites and web-based applications. Andrew also delivered technical training to new hires and ensured training needs were met.

After RCN, Andrew worked at Cox Communications as part of the eCare/High Speed Data Services Support team, where they served as a liaison and resolved customer complaints. Andrew provided technical and customer support to walk-in customers, handled email requests, and ensured timely updates and resolutions.

Andrew then joined HomePro Services as a Lead Customer Support Representative, where they provided exceptional customer support for walk-in customers and through automatic call distribution. Andrew also provided training and mentorship to other representatives.

At RealNetworks, Andrew worked as an Application Support Engineer, serving as the point of escalation for account and application issues. Andrew acquired in-depth knowledge of systems allowing initial triage and initiated Change Control Requests to ensure the proper delivery of solutions.

Next, Andrew joined Wireless Matrix as a Systems Operations Engineer, where they maintained expert-level knowledge of web-based software products and telematics devices. Andrew provided technical support, product expertise, and identified data issues for the development team.

At Electrosoft Services, Andrew worked as an ICAM Developer, supporting software development projects for cybersecurity. Andrew maintained knowledge of partner software, developed and maintained in-house tools, and ensured system integration.

Andrew then joined Accenture Federal Services as an Associate Software Engineer, where they assisted with the development and management of technology-based business solutions. Andrew developed and maintained knowledge of system components and documented system architecture.

Currently, Andrew is working at LTS as a Principal Consultant. Andrew previously held roles as a Senior Consultant and Consultant at the company.

Andrew Shaffer completed their education at two different institutions. From 2000 to 2009, they attended Northern Virginia Community College, where they earned an A.S. degree in Information Technology and Computer Science. Later, in 2012 to 2013, they attended George Mason University, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
