Mariana Alvarado

Senior Consultant - Senior Graphic Designer at LTS

Mariana Alvarado has a diverse work experience spanning from 2000 to the present. Mariana began their career as an Intern Graphic Designer at the Antiguo Colegio de San Ildefonso Museum, where they worked on designing various materials and managing files and images.

In 2002, Mariana worked as a Web Designer and Developer at Virginia Commonwealth University's School of Mass Communication. Mariana'sresponsibilities included redesigning the school's website, creating flow maps, designing interfaces, and developing graphic elements.

From 2012 to 2015, they served as an Intern Graphic Designer at Empowered Women International, where they managed the organization's WordPress website and designed the Spring2ACTion 2014 campaign.

Mariana gained further experience at AAMC in 2013 as a Production Specialist and HTML Consultant. Mariana was responsible for electronic production, manipulating desktop pages, processing file transmission, and using HTML code in Adobe Dreamweaver.

Starting in 2014, Mariana worked at Downtown Baptist Church as a Visual Communications Designer. Mariana handled corporate identity design and served as the web administrator for the church's website.

In 2017, Mariana joined Sprezzatura Management Consulting, LLC as a Graphic Designer. Mariana'srole involved working as a consultant for the Department of Veteran's Affairs Forever GI Bill Implementation team. Mariana designed graphics to help the VA's target audience comprehend the FGIB provisions, maintaining the VA's corporate image across platforms and communication channels.

Currently, Mariana is employed at LTS since 2019 as a Senior Consultant - Senior Graphic Designer, where they utilize their expertise in graphic designing.

Mariana Alvarado pursued their education in the field of design. In 1996, they attended Universidad Autonoma Metropolitana, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design after completing their studies in 2000. Later, in 2011, Mariana enrolled at the Corcoran School of the Arts and Design at The George Washington University. Mariana completed a certificate course in Web Design, focusing on Web Page, Digital/Multimedia, and Information Resources Design.
