Bianca McCarthy

Bianca (Yuko) McCarthy is a skilled professional with extensive experience in the cosmetics and active ingredients sectors, currently serving as Global Marketing Manager for Active Ingredients at The Lubrizol Corporation since February 2020, after holding the position of Market Development Manager for Active Ingredients in the APAC region. Previous roles include Research Scientist at Shiseido, Account Manager and Technical and Applications Chemist at IMCD N.V., and a PhD candidate at The University of Sydney, where research focused on Vitamin D metabolites and skin protection. Bianca's educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Photobiology from the University of Sydney, a Bachelor of Science (Hons First Class) in Chemistry from The University of Queensland, an Intensive Course in Dermato-Cosmetic Sciences from Vrije Universiteit Brussel, and a Diploma in Cosmetic Science from the Society of Cosmetic Scientists, alongside foundational education at All Hallows' School.
