Paula McLaughlin

Paula McLaughlin has a diverse and extensive work experience in the fashion and design industry. Paula is currently working as the VP of Design and Operations at Luca + Danni since 2023. Prior to this, they held the role of Creative Director at Bernardo Manufacturing from 2019 to 2023. During their time at Bernardo Manufacturing, Paula managed a team of 15+ staff and successfully directed the department while maintaining fiscal success during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Before joining Bernardo Manufacturing, Paula worked as the Design Director at SEQUIN from 2017 to 2019, where they founded and designed the Rhode Island annex office and managed a team of designers. Paula also contributed to growing the key Chico's FAS account.

Paula has also worked as a Design Consultant as well as a Design Director at Kenilworth Creations from 2003 to 2017. At Kenilworth Creations, they spearheaded a team of over 25 designers and successfully established and grew the Chico's FAS account. Paula secured the #1 Jewelry Vendor spot for the account amid strong competition.

Prior to Kenilworth Creations, Paula gained experience as a Freelance Designer and worked on various accounts including Walmart, Express, Inc., Claire's, and Limited Too. Paula designed women's and children's fashion, jewelry, accessories, and giftware.

Earlier in their career, Paula worked as the Design Director & Senior Designer at Tanya Creations, LLC, where they procured and developed the Express, Inc. account and achieved a high sell-through rate in giftware. Paula also worked as the Design Director at ARDEN MANUFACTURING LIMITED, leading a design department and creating product lines for various well-known brands.

Paula began their career as a Senior Designer at Rosecraft Inc. in 1989.

Paula McLaughlin holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Illustration from the Rhode Island School of Design. The dates of their education at this institution are not specified.
