Lien de Ruyck

Lien De Ruyck is a co-founder and futures and transition strategist at ELDERS, dedicated to designing clear visions for regeneration. With a strong commitment to sustainability, Lien co-writes the "Newsletter from the Future" for Regenerative Futures and serves as a lecturer in Futures Thinking and researcher at LUCA School of Arts. Lien's extensive experience includes being a public speaker and international author, focusing on regeneration and long-term thinking, as well as roles in biodiversity protection with Habitats and storytelling in ocean exploration with Sea Women Expeditions. As chapter lead for Speculative Futures Chapter Ghent and a board member at Nerdlab, Lien promotes interdisciplinary collaboration among creatives. Lien has pursued various educational qualifications in future strategy, disruptive design, and journalism, contributing to a well-rounded expertise in envisioning sustainable futures.
