Samir Ahmad

Samir Ahmad has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Samir began their career as a Research Trainee at LUPIN LIMITED in 2009 and progressed through various roles including Research Associate, Associate Scientist, and Research Scientist. In 2016, they joined Lupin Japan & Asia Pacific K.K as a Portfolio Manager and later became a Senior Manager-Portfolio. Their responsibilities included screening molecules across different markets, identifying potential First to Market and Innovative/Niche dosage forms. In 2020, Samir Ahmad joined Kyowa Pharmaceutical Industry Co. Ltd as a Senior Manager-Global Development (R&D). Currently, they are working as the Associate Director- IP strategy at LUCA Science Inc.

Samir Ahmad holds a Master's degree in Pharmaceutics and Drug Design from Banaras Hindu University, which they obtained from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences at Manipal University from 2003 to 2007. In 2013, Samir started pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Pharmaceutical Sciences at Manipal University, and the end year is not specified.
