James Huse is the Director of Security at the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art since March 2023 and has over 26 years of experience with the U.S. Secret Service, where James served as Special Agent in Charge, overseeing significant operational leadership roles, including in cyber-enabled financial crimes and dignitary protection. Their prior positions included Deputy Special Agent in Charge, overseeing one of the largest field offices, and supervisory roles within the Presidential Protective Division and White House Access Control Section. James has also worked as a Congressional Fellow investigating the 2009 Fort Hood Shooting. Earlier in their career, James served as a Petty Officer Third Class in the U.S. Navy Reserve and held positions in economics and market analysis. Their educational background includes a Master's in Homeland Security from the Naval Postgraduate School, a Master's in Economics from Wayne State University, and a Bachelor's in History from Michigan State University.
