Sara Maddox

Sara Maddox is a seasoned communications and public relations specialist currently working at Luck Companies since November 2022. Previously, Sara served as the Senior Manager for Marketing and Communications at Activation Capital from July 2014 to November 2022, where responsibilities included managing marketing efforts, executing events, and fostering community within the Richmond entrepreneurial ecosystem. Prior experience includes roles as Deputy Director of Legislative Affairs at the Department of Behavioral Health and Development Services, Assistant Secretary of Natural Resources, and Special Assistant for Policy and Legislation under Governor Bob McDonnell, as well as serving as Constituent Services Coordinator for Senator Walter Stosch. Sara holds a Master of Public Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Bachelor of Arts in History from James Madison University.
