Mike Harris

Mike Harris has extensive experience in mental health and community service, serving as Chair of the Board of Trustees for Improving Lives Notts since 2012, and Chair of The Lucy Faithfull Foundation since 2004, focusing on eliminating childhood sexual exploitation. Other leadership roles include Chair of Nottingham JCare since 2018 and Life Vice President and Trustee of Nottingham Liberal Synagogue since 2005. Mike Harris holds an emeritus consultant psychiatrist position at Nottinghamshire Healthcare, where past roles include Chief Executive and Executive Director for Forensic Services. Previous experience includes Non-Executive Director at St. Andrew's Healthcare and Medical Director & Deputy Chief Executive at St Andrew's Healthcare from 1995 to 2001. Educational accomplishments include a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Charing Cross Hospital Medical School and a B.Sc. in Physiology from the University of London Chelsea College, along with advanced training in executive leadership and a fellowship in psychiatry from The Royal College of Psychiatrists.
