Steven Dempsey

Steven Dempsey has a diverse work experience in the retail industry. Steven is currently the Head of Retail at Lucy and Yak, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to this, they had a long tenure at John Lewis, where they held multiple roles including VM Manager, Store Design from February 2018 to January 2023, VM Concept Manager from May 2015 to January 2023, and Visual Merchandising Designer from May 2013 to May 2015. Before their time at John Lewis, they worked at Peter Jones as the Visual Merchandising and Marketing Manager from November 2006 to May 2013, where they were responsible for managing a team of 30 creative VMs and coordinating various marketing activities. Their early experience includes the role of Visual Merchandise Manager at Marks & Spencer from August 1992 to November 2006.

Steven Dempsey attended Dumfries High School from 1988 to 1994. After completing high school, they pursued a degree in Consumer Management and Marketing - Fashion at Glasgow Caledonian University from 1994 to 1995.
