Samia Abed

Samia Abed is an experienced professional in clinical research and project management, currently serving as Co-Head of the Lausanne Clinical Trial Unit at the Centre de recherche clinique du CHUV since March 2023. In addition to this role, Samia Abed holds the position of Chief Project Manager at CHUV, the Centre hospitalier universitaire vaudois, since August 2017, along with previous experience as a Project Manager at SMIA. Samia Abed has also worked as a Clinical Research Associate in the Oncology Department at CHUV and at the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research. Additional experience includes serving as Head of Regulatory and Operational Affairs at the Service de Médecine Intensive Adulte at CHUV. Samia Abed's educational background includes a Clinical Research Associate degree in Oncology from Paris-Sud University and a Master’s in Medical Biology from the University of Lausanne, as well as a degree in Biology and Biochemistry from Université Mouloud Mammeri Tizi-Ouzou.
