Uniogen
Khirul Islam is a post-doctoral researcher at Uniogen and the University of Turku, specializing in cancer detection through extracellular vesicles, with current work commencing in February 2023. Previously, Khirul Islam served as a researcher at the University of Turku from February 2016 to January 2023, focusing on exosome-based biomarker discovery and prostate cancer diagnosis. Prior experience includes a research assistant position in the Molecular Biotechnology and Diagnostics department and an internship at Eskayef Bangladesh Limited. Khirul Islam holds multiple degrees including a Doctor of Philosophy in Biotechnology from the University of Turku, a Master's degree in Biological and Biomedical Sciences from the University of Turku, and a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from Khulna University.
