Thomas Wittmann

Thomas Wittmann has extensive work experience in the aviation industry. Thomas currently holds the position of Managing Director at Lufthansa Systems, a role they have held since July 2019. Prior to this, Thomas held various roles at Lufthansa, including Head of IT Domain Digitalization, Innovation & Architecture, Program Manager for Crew Management Systems, Director of Implementation Management CITP DCS & INV, Deputy Project Manager CITP, and General Manager of IT development Network Management. Thomas also worked as a Product Manager at Lufthansa Systems from 1999 to 2001. Thomas has a strong background in IT project management and has experience in areas such as Revenue Management, Network Planning, and Scheduling.

Thomas Wittmann obtained a Dipl. Physiker degree in Physics from TU Dortmund University in 1992. From 1992 to 1995, they pursued a Dr. rer. nat degree in Physics / Neural Networks at the University of Bremen. In 2013, they also obtained a PMP certification from PMI.
