OVERALL PURPOSE

We’re looking for someone eager to join Lula and build and develop a world-class partnership ecosystem. The opportunity is focused on new external partners onto Lula’s platform and supporting them in the best way possible. There is tremendous synergy between what Lula is looking to achieve and what partners from all industries, who have business networks looking to access growth funding and free up cash flow, are looking to achieve. We are looking for a dynamic self-starter who is exceptionally task-driven with a proven track record of excellent multitasking and administrative skills to help MAKE CASH FLOW.

Duties and responsibilities include, but will not be limited to:

  • Supporting our Business Development Specialist with Customer service queries and tickets
  • Monitoring the sales funnel and connecting the Affiliate with the application where necessary
  • Uploading applications on behalf of Affiliates
  • Providing feedback to Affiliates on applications
  • Making sure the sales funnel is moving along as quickly as possible
  • Approve new sign ups daily and send them onto their on-boarding journey
  • Join Affiliate Q and A’s on a weekly basis
  • Hunting leads and assisting with re-advance communication
  • Holding down all communication on WhatsApp with Affiliates
  • Effectively respond to high volumes of incoming affiliate linked new business funding applications from new customers in a timely manner
  • Accurately analyse and interpret business funding applications from new clients.
  • Consistently excel in meeting business and individual targets
  • Provide comprehensive reporting on your sales pipeline
  • Alongside the handling of incoming applications, timelessly manage other tasks that are essential to delivering the highest level of customer service

THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant or related field (or equivalent)
  • 1+ years experience in any form of sales/partnership role (experience within a financial services sales environment beneficial)
  • Multitasker of note with exceptional administrative skills (Proven track record a must)
  • Exceptional communication & sales skills - listening to and interpreting customer problems/needs, thorough knowledge of the product one is selling and its benefits
  • Target-driven, ability to work under high levels of pressure with a track record of consistently excelling in meeting sales targets
  • High level of understanding of financial statements, business/supplier contracts, SARS e-filing for business, payment gateways and accounting software (Advantageous)
  • Previous work experience in a startup (Desirable)
