Dr. Alok Patel

Dr. Alok Patel is an accomplished academic and editor with extensive experience in the fields of nutrition, bioengineering, biotechnology, and microbiology. Currently serving as Associate Editor for multiple Frontiers journals and as Editor for Energies MDPI, Dr. Patel also holds a tenure-track position as Assistant Professor and Research Scientist at Luleå University of Technology. With a background that includes postdoctoral research and co-founding a startup (PACK AWAY), Dr. Patel has contributed to significant research initiatives, including work as a Research Assistant at the Global Disease Detection India Center in partnership with the CDC. Dr. Patel earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Biotechnology from IIT Roorkee.
