Sofia Kang

Sofia Kang has extensive experience in the fashion industry, starting with their role as a Fashion Designer at DTLA from 2000 to 2007. Sofia then worked as a Technical Designer/1st Pattern Maker at Style Design and Pattern Service from 2007 to 2009. From 2010 to 2012, Sofia was the Head of Design at Freeloader. Sofia then joined S2K2, Inc. as the Head of Design and Product Development from 2012 to 2015. In 2015, Sofia founded their own company, Filosofia, where they served as the Founder/Designer until 2019. Sofia then moved on to Lulus.com, where they held the roles of Senior Technical Designer from 2019 to 2021 and Technical Design Manager from 2021 to 2023. Currently, Sofia is the Director of Technical Design at Birdy Grey since the start of 2023.

Sofia Kang has an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Fashion/Apparel Design from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM).
