Yu "Vivi" Song has a wealth of work experience in the marketing and tourism industry. Yu "Vivi" began their career in 2005 as an Interpreter for the National Museum of China. In 2007, they joined the Illinois Tourism Bureau as a Marketing Analyst, where they managed the website and its back-end database, completed strategic competitive analysis, and conducted model fitting and forecasting with tourism data. In 2015, they moved to Glogou Inc. as a Big Data Analyst, where they used web-crawling techniques to collect big data, investigated the targeted market, evaluated marketing strategies, and provided social media marketing solutions. Finally, in 2016, they joined LULUTRIP as a PMM Manager/Marketing Analyst and then as a Marketing Analyst.
Yu "Vivi" Song obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Museology/Museum Studies and a Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature, General from Beijing Normal University between 2002 and 2006. In 2006, they earned a Test for English Majors Band 8 from the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China. Yu "Vivi" then obtained a Master's Degree in Tourism Management from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign between 2006 and 2010, and in August of 2010, they earned a Foundation of Teaching certification from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Finally, they obtained a Master's Degree in Statistics from San Jose State University between 2012 and 2015.
