Megha Bala

Megha Bala has extensive work experience in the field of software quality assurance and engineering. Megha is currently working as a Senior Software QA Engineer at Luma Financial Technologies since July 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a Salesforce QA Consultant at EVERSANA from July 2019 to June 2020.

From April 2018 to May 2019, Megha worked as a Software Quality Assurance Analyst at Luminex Corporation. Before that, they were a Senior Consultant with a focus on Agile methodologies at Fidelity Investments from June 2014 to November 2017.

In 2015, they worked briefly as a Lead Software QA Engineer at Luxottica, where they reviewed and analyzed business requirement documentation, created test plans and strategies, and maintained project schedules.

Megha's work experience also includes being a Verification and Validation Engineer at Philips from October 2013 to February 2014, where they gained detailed knowledge of FDA regulations and verified the functionality and performance of medical imaging systems. Megha started their career as a Software Engineer at SAP Concur from January 2010 to April 2013.

Megha Bala earned a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from Visvesvaraya Technological University, completing their studies from 2004 to 2008. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications over the years. In 2018, they became a Certified Scrum Master through the Scrum Alliance. In 2019, they completed the API Testing Foundations certification through LinkedIn. In 2020, they obtained the Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) certification from the ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board, as well as Intermediate SQL - Professional Development certification from the University of Waterloo. In 2022, Megha obtained multiple certifications, including Postman Essential Training and SQL Queries Made Easy from LinkedIn, and the Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
