KOBE WANG

ML Lead at Lumachain

Kobe Wang has an extensive work experience in computer vision and machine learning. KOBE has worked as a Computer Vision & ML Tech Lead at Lumachain since 2021, a Machine Learning Engineer at black.ai since 2020, a Research Assistant at National Tsing Hua University since 2018, a Senior Computer Vision Engineer at ULSee Inc. since 2018, a Senior Computer Vision Engineer at Digital Domain since 2016, a Technical Lead and Software Engineer at Reallusion since 2013, and a Robotics Researcher at Tamkang University since 2007. At National Tsing Hua University, they lead a team of two to participate in the IEEE Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (CVPR) and the Robotic Vision Probabilistic Object Detection Challenge in 2019, and won the championship. At Digital Domain, they developed face landmark tracking models and face expression models by deep learning, collected and processed face training data by CG, and developed a 3D face reconstruction from 2D image by deep learning. At Tamkang University, they developed a RANSAC RGB-D mapping algorithm for multi-view point cloud registration, a real-time feature descriptor matching via a multi-resolution exhaustive search method, and a dynamic range compression method for image and image processing device. KOBE also participated in the Robocup and FIRA International Robot Competition, and won the FIRA International Robot Competition champion.

Kobe Wang attended Tamkang University from 2011 to 2013, where they earned a Master of Science in Robotics Technology/Technician.
