Richard Birnie

Richard Birnie is currently the Head of Scientific Development, Modelling & Analytics at Lumanity since March 2022. Prior to that, Richard held the position of Vice President, Head of Advanced Analytics at BresMed from January 2017 to March 2022. With a background in molecular biology and genetics, Richard has extensive experience in leading scientific and analytical roles in various healthcare-related companies such as Pro-Cure Therapeutics, Kleijnen Systematic Reviews Ltd, and Newcastle University. Their expertise includes systematic reviews, meta-analysis, statistical analysis, and bioinformatics techniques. Richard's career has been focused on research program management, statistical analysis of gene expression data, and biomarker-driven therapy in cancer treatments.
