Matthew Greene is currently the Head of User Experience at LumaTax. Prior to this, they were a User Experience Lead at Boeing from June 2019 to August 2021. In this role, they were responsible for UX leadership and coordination of 4 UX designers across a 5-product portfolio, introducing and advocating for UX research rituals including persona development, journey map workshops, service blueprinting, and usability studies. Matthew also authored and managed user stories, features, and tasks for the whole UX organization to ensure visibility of capacity and velocity, as well as consistency of design quality across the portfolio. Additionally, they engaged with airline customers for discovery sessions and was a founding member of the Boeing CX ResearchOps committee.
Before working at Boeing, Greene was an independent UX consultant from June 2016 to June 2019. As a consultant, they worked with client leadership to steer scope, schedule, and budget; facilitated discovery meetings; produced sitemaps and wireframes; conceived high-level concepts to streamline systems; iterated on visual design concepts; created high-fidelity prototypes; designed responsive mockups for multiple resolutions; supervised and coordinated efforts of freelance UX Designers; liaised with clients and vendors on a daily basis; and mentored client design staff on UX tools and best practices.
Matthew Greene reports to Robert Schulte, Founder & CEO. They are on a team with Patrick Handel - Head of Product, Valerie Heckman - Director Of Business Development, and Farhan Sarwar - VP, Engineering.
