Michael Hayes has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Michael started their career in 1981 as a Southeast Region USA Installation Supervisor, managing and supervising over 60 field technicians. Michael successfully completed simultaneous installation projects and played a pivotal role in installing the first DMS-100 telephone switching system for Southern Bell.

In the following years, Michael held various roles at Nortel Networks, including DMS-10 Equipment Application Engineer, DMS-10/100/200/500 DC Power Engineer, and DC Power Technical Support and DC Power Warehouse Operations Manager. Throughout their tenure, they provided technical support to internal and external customers, designed DC Power Plant specifications, and created AutoCAD schematics and templates for DC Power job sites.

Michael then worked as a Managed Services Engineer and DC Power Engineering Support Engineer at GENBAND from 2001 to 2002, where they managed external DC Power Engineers and provided technical support to sales, engineering, installation, and field engineers.

From 2010 to 2012, Michael served as a Field Engineering (FE) and DC Power Engineering Support Engineer at Genband, where they provided daily technical support activities for internal and external Switching/VoIP Field Engineers and customers. Michael successfully implemented FE tools and provisioning guides, resulting in less than 0.5% root cause analysis.

In 2012, Michael worked as a Design Documentation Switching/VoIP Engineering Specialist at MMCG, collaborating with GENBAND's hardware designer and engineering tools team. Michael'srole primarily involved maintaining and generating new Cable Assignment Documentation for VoIP, Switching, and Power/Grounding.

After that, they joined MMCG as a contractor for GENBAND and served as a Detail Specification Engineer. Michael'sresponsibilities included developing and maintaining a Specification Template and providing detail specifications for remediation of alarms for a major telecommunications company.

Currently, Michael is seeking job opportunities after being unemployed for a brief period.
