Morten Nissov

Morten Nissov has a strong background in product line management, with extensive experience in the optical communications industry. Morten has held senior positions at companies such as Lumentum and OCLARO, where they oversaw product line management responsibilities. At Lumentum, they were responsible for managing the P&L of pluggable transceiver portfolios, including the development of new products based on customer interactions and industry standards. Prior to this, they worked at TE Connectivity Data Communications, leading high-density parallel optics connector development and managing global connector businesses. Morten has also served in various director-level roles, overseeing product management, business development, and research in the areas of optics, RF/COAX, and transmission. Before entering the industry, they gained experience as an assistant research professor at the Technical University of Denmark and as an artillery sergeant in the Danish Army.

Morten Nissov has a diverse education history. Morten completed their Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at DTU - Technical University of Denmark from 1989 to 1994. Morten then pursued a Ph.D. in the same field at the same university, graduating in 1997. Following this, they enrolled at NYU Stern School of Business and obtained an MBA in General Management from 2007 to 2009. Additionally, Morten Nissov attended the Danish Army Artillery School in 1987 and 1988, where they earned the rank of Sergeant.
