Atul Shah

Atul Shah has over 30 years of work experience in various leadership roles. Atul'smost recent position was as the VP, Client Partner Executive at Lumeris, where they focused on transitioning organizations from volume-based to value-based care. Before that, they co-founded and co-led the Philadelphia Health IT Circle, a group promoting healthcare technology-driven innovation in the Philadelphia region. At naviHealth, Atul served as the VP, ACO Business Development, leading a growth initiative for nationwide healthcare system sales. Atul also held the role of SVP, Client Development at RightCare, a clinical decision support start-up acquired by naviHealth. Prior to that, Atul was the SVP, Strategic Client Development at Within3, a company specializing in building private, online healthcare communities. Earlier in their career, they served as the SVP, Chief Strategy Officer at SunGard Availability Services, where they focused on strategic planning and business process re-engineering. At SAP America, Atul held the position of Group VP, Operations, supporting the CEO in managing operational priorities. Atul began their career as a Systems Engineering Manager at TRW, leading engineering teams in the design and construction of communication satellite systems. Overall, Atul Shah has a diverse background in healthcare, technology, and strategy.

Atul Shah holds an MBA degree in Finance and Marketing from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, which they obtained from 1998 to 2000. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) from the University of Southern California from 1987 to 1989. Atul'sundergraduate degree, a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE), was attained at Rice University from 1983 to 1987. In addition to their formal education, Atul Shah also obtained a certification in Six Sigma Green Belt - Healthcare from Villanova University in 2010.
