Marshall McDermott

Marshall McDermott has a diverse background in engineering and product management. Marshall started their career in 2012 at Halliburton, where they worked on a project for the procurement department, designing and programming a resource allocation system. In 2013, they joined Ply Gem as a Product Engineer and Process Engineer, where they were in charge of materials cost savings projects and product modifications. Marshall then moved to Ply Gem Windows - Bryan in 2014 as Engineering Manager, where they were responsible for approval, procurement, and implementation of manufacturing capital. In 2015, they joined HMS Holdings Corp (HMSY) as a Business Process Engineer, focused on continuous improvement and product innovation on an enterprise level. From 2018 to 2021, they worked at HMS as Director of COB Operations and Sr. Manager Engineering, managing a team of data scientists and engineers in the development of new processes, new product applications, and increased product revenue. Currently, they are the Head of Product at Lumiata, leading healthcare customers in unique product solutions to drive them to their goals through integrated Artificial Intelligence.

Marshall McDermott obtained a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Texas A&M University in 2012, followed by a Master of Engineering in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the same institution in 2013. Marshall also holds certifications as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (2015), SAS Advanced SQL Programmer (2015), and SAS Certified Base Programmer for SAS 9 (2013).
