Boris Strochkov

Head of Engineering at Lumiform

Boris Strochkov has extensive experience in engineering and software development. Boris is currently the Head of Engineering at Lumiform, starting in 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Westwing from 2018 to 2022, where they held multiple roles including Head of Engineering, Technical Lead, and Senior Software Engineer. At Westwing, they successfully built and led a team, managed other teams and Engineering Managers, and contributed to the company's technical vision and roadmap. Before their time at Westwing, Boris worked as a Senior Software Engineer at B2B-Center, contributing to the development of a complex web application. Boris also co-founded an e-commerce company called Evro Treyd, where they served as CTO and Co-Owner, gaining valuable experience in business operations. Additionally, Boris has worked at Arconada as a Technical Lead and Software Engineer, and at i-Media as a Junior Software Engineer.

Boris Strochkov obtained their education from two different institutions. Boris attended the Moscow Technical College from 2003 to 2007, where they earned an Engineer's degree in Software for Computers and Automated Systems. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Informatics and Computing Systems at the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI (Moscow Engineering Physics Institute) from 2007 to 2012.

In terms of additional certifications, Boris Strochkov received the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in September 2018. Boris also obtained the EFSET 65 Advanced (CEFR C1) certification from EF Education First, although the specific month and year of attainment are unknown.
